AES Corporation Awarded WTFP Grant
AES Corporation, the leading manufacturer of private wireless mesh alarm communication products and services, was recently awarded a state grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP).
In an effort to better serve our customers, AES is building upon continuous process improvement initiatives including this investment in employee training across all departments company-wide. The Grant Program will be focused on Succeeding with the Customer and Employee experience, consisting of three series. In this workshop curriculum, each series is highly interactive over a 12 week period that is designed to give a broad section of company employees the opportunity to be a part of crafting improvements that will strengthen operational efficiency.
The Company began rolling out the LEAN program in 2015. Over the course of the next several months, employees representing all departments across the company will participate in 2019 Grant Program sessions facilitated by professional trainer Douglas McCaig at Hamilton Cornell Associates.
Patrick Moran, President & COO of AES Corporation, has been leading this charge with members of the Leadership Team acting as mentors to participants. The results of each group session has had a positive impact in all areas of the company from order entry to the shipping process and everything in between which ultimately improves the customer experience.
